Dr Greg Irving

Greg completed his medical training in Nottingham before going onto postgraduate studies in Oxford and Liverpool then worked as a Clinical Lecturer in Cambridge. He has also previously studied as a Global Clinical Scholar at Harvard University. He is currently a senior lecturer in General Practice at Edge Hill University Medical School.Greg joined as a GP governing body member on 1 October 2020.  He is an academic GP with an interest in primary care research and medical education and has received a number of personal National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) awards including a Doctoral and Academic Clinical Lecturer Fellowships.

Clinically he works as a GP at Garswood Surgery and is also a MERIT doctor for the North West Ambulance Service.
