I grew up in Liverpool and graduated from the University in 1989.
A chance meeting led to me becoming a partner at the Spinney Medical centre in St Helens where I have been since 1994.
While I still find being a GP extremely rewarding I have held additional roles over the years including being a GP appraiser and trainer.
I have just been elected to the CCG, a new challenge for me, but I hope
my experience of looking after patients and working with other health care professionals will help inform and shape the future of health and well-being of the people of St Helens.
Outside of work I play the clarinet and enjoy cycling and walking with family and friends.
