In her quest to consider and capture the idea of waiting, you are invited to think what you might be waiting for and to leave your answer using the equipment installed in the library.
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? - SCREENPRINTING WORKSHOP
Friday 28 September 3.00pm - 6.00pm
Come and learn about and enjoy screen printing. Together with Claire you will print the varied answers to the question 'What are you waiting for?' onto material barriers that will be used in an arts event on World Mental Health Day.

World Suicide Prevention Day 2018

World Suicide Prevention day (WSPD) is held each year on 10 September. It’s an annual awareness raising event organised by International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) and the World Health Organisation (WHO).
St Helens Healthy Living Team will be hosting this years annual event, themed as a "Picnic in the Park" at Taylor Park alongside the St Helens 150 Years celebrations.

'Know Your Type' and become a blood donor 2018

NHS Blood and Transplant is bringing the ‘Know Your Type’ event to two locations in St Helens town centre to recruit new blood donors.
Assembly Room, Town Hall – 3 September 2018 10.30am – 2.30pm
Church Square – 6 September 2018 10.30am – 2.30pm
People thinking of becoming a blood donor will have a finger prick test which gives a likely indication of their blood group within a couple of minutes. They are then invited to donate at their nearest local blood donation sessions.

Annual General Meeting 2018

This year, NHS St Helens CCG celebrated NHS 70th Birthday with our Annual General Meeting (AGM). We hosted a tea party for our partners, public and community members to help us to celebrate.
As part of our AGM, we also presented our summary annual report in the form of our interactive e-book, where videos can be found from members of our CCG team telling you about challenges and achievements in 2017/18.
Highlights of our AGM included the poetry readings from our NHS70 poetry competition in St Helens and singing from the Cowley High School Junior Choir.

Dementia Action Week 2018

Dementia Information Event
Dementia Action Week is starting on the 21 May, as part of this NHS St Helens CCG will be joining up with Healthwatch St Helens and the Alzheimer’s Society to hold an event on 21 May (10am-4pm) to raise awareness of resources available to people living with dementia and their carers.
The event will be held at The Hope Centre Atherton Street, St Helen's WA10 2DT.
