Talkfest

Talkfest sessions return this Autumn - where we update you on health and social care plans and you give us your feedback. All sessions are virtual using Microsoft Teams week commencing 5th October 2020

What is TALKFEST?

Talkfest is a meeting where NHS St Helens CCG and the Council's public health team chats to the local community about changes and developments in health and social care in St Helens. It's our way of engaging with local communities and members of the public  - updating you about various health and care topics and listening to your views and feedback - as users of our services.

This year due to Covid-19 restrictions our TALKFEST meetings will take place virtually using Microsoft TEAMs.  We also have a freephone telephone number so that anyone who isn’t able to use TEAMS can dial in and take part over the phone.

We will be holding three events - taking place at different times of the day to enable as many people as possible to join us.  Click the link to book your place:

The topics at these sessions will cover:

  • Primary care  - changes to how your GP and practice staff are operating
  • Covid-19 national and local updates
  • Winter health - including the flu vaccination programme, NHS 111 and emergency and urgent care.

Talkfest is our way of engaging with as many different people and communities in St Helens as possible including schools, workplaces, community, partners and third sector and voluntary organisations.  We want as many people as possible to ask questions and get involved.

Once registered, a link to join the session on Microsoft TEAMS and phone number will be sent out by Friday 2nd October.
