Local Businesses
The CCG is a member of St Helens Chamber and regularly attend the monthly Business Breakfasts meetings. The meetings provides an opportunity for the CCG to talk about local engagement activities / campaigns that are coming up for the local businesses to support and distribute information.
Work places
The CCG regularly work with the Co-op distribution centre on number of engagement / health campaigns to ensure the workforce have the same opportunities as the community when having their say on local services and sharing feedback on services accessed. To ensure the whole workforce have the same opportunity the CCG cover a number of shifts to allow office, warehouse and drivers to get involved.
The team have also attended management briefing sessions to ensure managers are fully aware on what services are available locally and how and when to access them, this includes mental health services and other local NHS services such as 111, Urgent Treatment Centres and community pharmacists.
Georgia Gibson, Engagement Support & Member Pioneer, Co-op Lea Green Distribution Centre “As one of the biggest employers in St Helens we have been pleased to work with and support the CCG when it comes to engaging with our workforce on health matters – something that is mutually beneficial for both of us giving our staff from office, warehouse to drivers the chance to get involved in what’s happening locally and how to access locally services. The CCG have also held managers briefings to equip them with the information needed to support colleagues on a number of different areas such as mental health and what services are available locally”
