Your experiences

We want to know your patient story

Your experience of the NHS in St Helens is important to us, it will help us shape the way we deliver services and also help to ensure that we are providing the best quality of service to you.

If you have had a recent experience which you would like to tell us about, please fill out the form below to tell us your story. We use this information to provide feedback to our commissioners and service providers so we can continually improve our services.

A patient experience report is compiled and reviewed on a quarterly basis pulling together information we receive from various channels including:

  • Patient Experience and Involvement Group
  • Healthwatch insight, information and reports
  • Health events
  • Meetings
  • Social media
  • Focus groups
  • Working with third sector and voluntary groups
  • NHS website
  • Patient Opinion website

All information captured is triangulated and themes and trends identified and used to support further work through both the engagement and quality teams. A report is also reviewed by our quality committee and appropriate action is taken. Both our quality committee and Governing Body starts with a patient story to ensure patient experience is fed through the organisation to at all levels.
