Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place on Wednesday 8 July at 12.30pm.
Due to Covid-19 this year's AGM had to be held virtually via Microsoft TEAMs. The meeting covered a summary of the year within the CCG, the financial story, question and answer session with the Governing Body, covid pandemic update from a guest speaker finishing off with our thank you animation.
We had over 70 people join in the meeting who had the pleasure of hearing Jessica McDonald's charity single 'Rainbow of Love' as they joined us before Geoffrey Appleton, CCG Chair opened the AGM.
Below you will find the agenda from the meeting along with the presentation which was showed on the day. You can also watch our Thank you Animation that had been shown at the end of the meeting.
Feedback following Virtual AGM
"As Chair of Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership could I take this opportunity to express my appreciation of the work of St Helens CCG. First I appreciate the positive effect on the health of the people of St Helens and on reducing inequalities. I applaud the way the CCG and St Helens Council work together to achieve this. But second I appreciate the way the CCG has been a wholehearted partner in Cheshire and Merseyside to enable wider benefit too. Thank you. Alan"

"As a local resident in St Helens I take a great interest in how our health and wellbeing services are provided. I knew that the way the CCG’s AGM would be delivered would be different this year due to the pandemic so I’ve been keeping up to date on their website and social media. The event was advertised with plenty of advance warning I felt.
It was great to see that the team had used a wraparound in the St Helens Star that gave a great overview of not only the highlights of the CCGs year, but how to attend the virtual meeting. There was provision for anyone who didn’t have access to Microsoft teams, so that’s a nice bit of supportive foresight.
Booking my place was very easy and the whole event went very smoothly, from the singer at the beginning through some great speakers to a nice animation to round off proceedings.
I would also say that it’s a great example of spending public money efficiently and effectively – well done to everyone"
