Two of our Local GPs are celebrating achievements after receiving fellowships from Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP). Receiving the fellowship is recognition of a significant contribution to medicine, and general practice in particular.
Fellowship is an honour and mark of achievement recognising a significant contribution to:
- health and welfare of the community
- science or practice of medicine
- aims of RCGP, or any organisation which benefits general practice
Dr Hilary Flett, Governing Body GP said “It is fantastic to be recognised for the hard work we do. I was proud to fly the flag for St Helens alongside my colleague Dr Laura Pogue, showing our colleagues nationally what great work is happening in the area.”
The pair attended a ceremony to receive their fellowship in London on Friday 11th May 2018.
